Introducing the new Puma Gen-E

Ford’s best-selling compact SUV is going electric. The new Ford Puma Gen-E is designed with the same everyday practicality as its non-electric counterpart, stylish looks and efficient performance, making it an electric Ford car that adapts for various needs and lifestyles.

Here is everything you need to know about the new all-electric Ford Puma.

Electric Power Meets Familiar Style

At first glance, the Puma Gen-E doesn’t stray far from the winning formula of its petrol counterpart. It keeps the same high-riding stance, sporty curves, and compact SUV proportions that have made the Puma a hit. Subtle styling updates – including a revised grille, new aerodynamic alloy wheels, and a refreshed bumper design - give away its electric power update. While still sporty, the design has been optimised for better aerodynamic efficiency, helping boost the Gen-E’s driving range.

Practicality Designed for Everyday Life

The original Puma was praised for its clever use of space and the Puma Gen-E retains this practicality. Boasting up to 523 litres of load space, the all-electric Ford Puma features the option to divide the boot space in order to maximise storage space and keep all your things securely in place. The raised driving position, ease of access, and compact yet spacious layout make it a versatile car that’s just as suited to city commutes as it is to weekend trips.

Range to Take You Places

The new Ford Puma Gen-E has an impressive range of up to 233 miles WLTP, which puts it firmly in line with the best in the small SUV class. It’s a figure that makes it ideal for both short trips and longer journeys, especially when combined with its smooth yet lively driving experience. You never need to worry about running out of power because the Puma Gen-E supports fast charging, allowing for 10–80% top-ups in around 23 minutes when using a 100kW fast charger.

Modern Interior, Smart Technology

Inside, the Puma Gen-E features a modern, digital-first cabin. Borrowing elements from the refreshed hybrid Puma, it includes a generous 12-inch central touchscreen with Ford’s SYNC 4 system, a digital instrument display, and full support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Comfort and convenience features like ergonomic seats, wireless phone charging, keyless entry, and advanced driver assistance systems make every journey comfortable for both the driver and other passengers. This means you’ll get a car that not only saves money on running costs, but also feels just as smart and connected as your phone.

A Future-Ready Vehicle

Following in the footsteps of the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the All-Electric Ford E-Transit, the Puma Gen-E brings electric driving to a much broader audience, offering an accessible price point and the practicality drivers expect from a compact SUV - only in an all-electric format.

With growing demand for electric vehicles – and the government’s looming 2035 deadline for the end of new petrol and diesel sales – the new Ford Puma Gen-E offers a smart, future-ready option for drivers who want to make the switch without compromise and enjoy all the benefits of driving one of the most popular Ford cars around.
