Ford Ranger PHEV

Europe's first Plug-in Hybrid pick-up

Delivering outstanding performance with even greater efficiency and lower fuel costs‡‡ for everyday journeys. Ranger PHEV seamlessly combines a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine with a 75 kW battery-powered motor.

A choice of EV driving modes means you can drive on petrol, battery power, or a combination of the two. And with 281 PS of power, 697 Nm of torque, and up to 3500 kg max towing capacity – there’s no compromise to the iconic toughness and hard-working capability of Ford Ranger.

If your work takes you into the city, Ranger PHEV is the perfect pick-up for the job. Capable of zero emissions while driving up to a targeted range of 26 miles†† when needed, you’ll be able to access city centres and other low-emission zones**.

A mobile power source, available in two options, means you can leave the generator behind and free up some load space. The standard 2.3 kW (10 amp) system lets you recharge batteries and power most electric hand tools. While the 6.9 kW (16 amp) option gives a little more kick – capable of powering a host of heavier gear, from grinding tools and air-conditioning units, to camping stoves and EV dirt bikes.

Performance & Capability

The Ford Ranger comes with a rotary dial to quickly shift between different drive modes, the new Ranger is built to tackle even more than before.

The Ranger has a 1 tonne gross payload and can handle towing up to 3.5 tonne^. And a wading dept of 800 mm means it goes where lesser vehicles may fear to tread. With a wider stance, the Ranger load box area is now wide enough to accommodate a standard Euro pallet between the wheel houses. The innovative rear bumper design now includes a convenient integrated foot step on either side, providing easier access to your cargo.

With three powertrains available, there’s even a 3.0L EcoBlue V6 diesel delivering 240PS and 600 Nm of torque. The Ranger Wildtrak’s premium interior includes partial leather seat trims, with orange contrast stitching and Wildtrak embroidered logos, plus additional signature branding on the dashboard. Zone Lighting illuminates the immediate areas surrounding your Ranger, so even in the dark, you can always focus on the job in hand. Ranger’s unique E-Shifter provides complete control of the 10-speed gearbox which, together with an electronic parking brake, creates a more streamlined interior.
